Roamap is a safety and emergency services finder. We do not require accounts, collect names, email addresses, or advertising identifiers, or run ads. Your location is transmitted to map services solely to find nearby services — it is not stored on Roamap servers and is not sold. Note that location data and IP addresses can still be considered personal data under some laws (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR) even though we don't store them — see "Third-Party Services" below for what those services may process on our behalf.
Roamap does not retain personal data on its servers. Offline saves are stored on your device until you delete them via the app. Third-party services operate under their own retention policies linked above. Although Roamap does not store your location on Roamap-controlled servers, third-party services may receive technical information such as IP address, request metadata, and location/routing data as necessary to provide their services, subject to their own privacy policies.
Where applicable, including for users in the EU, EEA, UK, or California, you may have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of personal data we hold, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because Roamap stores no personal data on its own servers, there is no data to retrieve or delete from our side. For data held by third-party services, consult their privacy policies above. Where applicable, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., your EU Member State's data protection authority).
Roamap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
